The nearest airport is Dalaman and
the flight takes about 3hr 45mins. There are many carriers
such as, Thompson and XL Airways or try Flightline and
Cheapestflights. Shopping around can produce some good
deals.
Transfer from Dalaman to Ovacik takes approx. 55 min.
by taxi or minibus and costs £60 for 4 and £80
for up to 8 persons return.
Coming from Fethiye there is a steep hill leading
to Ovacik as the road levels out there is a petrol station
on the left [Turk petrol], go past this for about 1.4kms
and take the left turn by “The Captains Table”
restaurant opposite the Monte Verdi sign, go up the
hill and cross over the next junction, the road bears
round to right, go past the Melody Club Hotel which
is on the on the left and at the next road the villas
are to the left at 11 o’clock. The development
is called Lydae and we are no. 4 this is to the left
side.
The local taxis all know the Melody hotel so this
is the best reference to give as not all of them will
be aware of the villas yet.
